A six-week Nonviolent Communication series created to centre the lived experience of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour.
We live within systems — capitalism, racism, homophobia, ableism, and other forms of oppression — that can leave us disconnected from our own reality and from our full humanity. For Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour, the impact of these systems is often carried across generations, showing up at work, at home, and in our relationships with other racialised communities.
Date: September 17 & 24 and October 1 & 8, 2026
Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Pacific
Facilitating groups is rewarding—and sometimes it’s tough. Facilitating Under Fire is a practical, reflective workshop for facilitators who find themselves navigating conflict between participants that shifts the tone of the room, emotionally charged moments, or comments and behaviours that are sexist, racist, homophobic, ableist, or otherwise impact dignity and belonging.
